Ray Whiting

Born and raised in Washington DC in 1970, Ray came to West Virginia to attend West Virginia State University in 1990 to further his education.  He transferred to Marshall University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.  Ray has worked on his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, which had to be put on hold.  He is a resident of Dunbar, and a father of two kids. Ray is the former host of two shows on WTSQ 88.1 FM, and is now the host of a podcast show called ‘Our Voices.’  He was appointed to the West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Administration Finance Board in 2016 and currently is employed with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
