Mary Virginia Gibbs

Mary Virginia Gibbs grew up in Huntington, WV, and although she is not a West Virginian by birth, she considers WV her home. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2018 with a B.S. in Biology and has come back to earn her MD at WVUSOM. Mary Virginia is a member of Medical Students for Choice (MSFC) and Student Healthcare Alliance for Promoting Equality (SHAPE) at WVU. Mary Virginia is passionate about women’s health and believes that part of ensuring quality reproductive care for tomorrow is educating today’s providers.
