DEI Statement

WV FREE builds stronger communities through advocacy and education on reproductive health, rights, and justice. Our work is centered in our respect for people’s complex lives.

WV FREE is welcoming to all, respecting the full spectrum of races, ethnicities, national origins, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, beliefs, religions, faiths, and ideologies, cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, family responsibilities, veteran status, levels of physical ability, and neurodiversity.

We work for racial, economic, gender, and LGBTQ+ rights and justice through partnerships, alliance building, education, and advocacy. We use a social justice lens to approach every activity, program, policy, and partnership that we undertake to help ensure that we are living our values. WV FREE’s staff, board, and statewide support base are the core to all that we do. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional people, and to nurturing an organizational culture that is dynamic, rewarding, and supportive.
